About Me
Greetings and welcome!
Since you made it this far, let me tell you a little about myself. I’m a semi-reformed journalist and a confirmed travel addict living in New Hampshire.
I spend my free time traveling, hiking, bemoaning the fate of the Boston Red Sox, and enjoying the works of Jim Butcher, Joe Hill, Stephen King, Lee Child and Ken Follett.
Also, Marvel>DC, Diet Coke>Diet Pepsi (although I am flexible on this point – caffeine is caffeine, after all), and Texas barbecue>most foods in the Western world.
I've chronicled my travels in photos and text for myself and various publications, including the San Antonio Express-News, the Houston Chronicle, and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
In addition to writing and shooting, I’m a professional graphic designer with more than 20 years of experience and numerous awards to my credit. I’ve worked for several major newspapers (so I understand the importance of making deadlines and communication) and I’ve freelanced for large and small organizations, including the American Library Association, Eurofins Scientific, ATCC, the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Working Group and Bazinga Comics.
I write, I shoot, and I design. And I want to work with you.
If you’ve got a creative need – photography, writing, graphic design (for print or web), or web site building – I can help. Drop me a line and let’s talk.
